Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and manage physicians' prescribed plans of care for our patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with our interdisciplinary team
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided in our electronic system of record
- Provide health education and training to family members and caregivers
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, and obtain co-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders
- Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
- Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
- Reliable transportation
