Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop work schedules, delegate tasks, and provide training to staff members.
  • Mentor, guide, and motivate employees; enhance their potential and uphold high standards.

  • Ensure a safe and secure working environment through training and regular safety assessments.
  • Assist in evaluating employee performance, offering both written and verbal feedback.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with computerized scanning equipment.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may involve weekends.

It would be advantageous if you also possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work or military experience.
  • 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in an AS9100 or ISO-certified environment.
  • Background in Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability to follow, promote, and implement safety initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to:

  • Lift objects of varying shapes, sizes, and weights.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Reach (including overhead), bend, stoop, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
  • Handle or operate tools or equipment.
  • Tolerate varying warehouse temperatures.
