Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cancer Center

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cancer Center team in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our Cancer Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, developing and implementing care plans, and educating patients and families about their treatment options.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide improved clinical care with a primary focus on complex care issues of cancer patients
  • Deliver direct patient care to oncology and medical infusion patients
  • Develop and implement care plans, educate patients and families, and assist with daily telephone triage
  • Assist in triage of medical urgencies/emergencies to NP or MD
  • Coordinate, perform, and track injections and chemotherapy infusions according to ONS guidelines
  • Assess psychosocial needs of patients and families, communicate with social service for follow-up
  • Provide ongoing patient management via telephone, prescriptions, teaching, and symptom management
  • Collaborate with practice staff, NP/MD, and other healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Massachusetts
  • BSN required
  • 3-5 years oncology nursing experience required
  • OCN preferred
