Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Permanent Litigation Support Specialist to become an integral part of our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our attorneys to prepare for hearings and trials, conduct thorough legal research, review and summarize medical records, and accurately summarize depositions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including drafting legal documents and discovery requests.
  2. Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case development.
  3. Review and summarize medical records, emphasizing key information pertinent to the case.
  4. Accurately summarize depositions, capturing essential details and main points.
  5. Perform bluebook citation checks to ensure proper legal document formatting.
  6. Utilize Relativity software for effective data management and document review.
  7. Coordinate with witnesses and experts to gather necessary information for trial preparation.
  8. Maintain organized and confidential case files for easy access.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation support professional, ideally in labor and employment law.
  2. Thorough understanding of legal processes, terminology, and court procedures.
  3. Demonstrated experience in trial preparation and bluebook citation checking.
  4. Proficient in reviewing medical records and summarizing depositions.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  6. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal information clearly.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software.
  9. Paralegal certification is highly desirable.
