About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Southern NH Health System. As a member of our Pediatric Speech department, you will be responsible for providing speech language pathology services to Pediatric inpatients and/or outpatients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates patients, including subjective information, objective information, assessment, and prognosis, and establishes effective goals and treatment plans.
  • Implements patient-specific treatment plans and modifies them as necessary.
  • Develops and implements patient-appropriate educational programs with family participation when necessary.
  • Provides clinical supervision to new staff and/or affiliating students.
  • Completes and processes insurance and third-party payer information in a timely manner.
  • Maintains clinical competency and uses equipment and techniques that are safe and appropriate for skill level.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of speech and language pathology.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Current (or pending) licensure in speech and language pathology in the State of New Hampshire required.
  • Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by ASHA.
  • Modified Barium Swallow and/or Feeding for pediatric experience preferred.
