Your Impact: As a Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor, you will be instrumental in providing Care Beyond Compare. Your hands-on nursing expertise will directly influence the quality of life for our residents, helping them achieve and maintain their independence through compassionate support.
Collaboration: You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that we uphold the highest standards of care. Your collaborative efforts will contribute to a nurturing environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide the activities of nursing assistants (CNAs).
- Deliver personalized nursing care in accordance with each resident's care plan.
- Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge processes of patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Communicate procedures and treatments to patients to foster cooperation and alleviate concerns.
- Monitor vital signs to identify any deviations from normal and assess patient progress.
- Maintain accurate medical records documenting nursing observations and actions taken.
- Record patient needs on care plans to ensure continuity of care.
- Support the emotional well-being of patients and prepare them for ongoing care post-discharge.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to provide outstanding care to each resident.
