You will work under the supervision of the Pharmacist in Charge and be responsible for maintaining patient profiles, reviewing orders, and evaluating drug/food interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire, store, and dispense pharmaceuticals ordered by physicians
  • Maintain patient profiles and review orders
  • Evaluate drug/food interactions to ensure effective and cost-efficient dosing
  • Utilize automated systems for control of pharmaceuticals, billing, and communication
  • Project a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining patient confidentiality
Requirements
  • Demonstrated eligibility for employment in the United States
  • Holds a pharmacy degree
  • Current licensure in the State of Texas and posts this license in the Pharmacy
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care
  • Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own professional advancement
Working Conditions

The Pharmacist may be expected to lift up to 25 pounds or up to 50 pounds with assistance. Work is of medium demand; walking or standing most of the time while on duty. Visual and auditory acuity and manual dexterity are essential to performing the designated duties required.
