Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join our team at Naval Air Systems Command. As an integral member of our Prototype, Manufacturing & Test Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our manufacturing programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Team Lead and Progressman to integrate diverse systems and ensure timely delivery of ALRE and SE manufacturing programs.
  • Ensure reliable records of vendors, contacts, parts, and processes are current and available for review.
  • Make mission-essential acquisitions of supplies and services for official Government business.
  • Work closely with internal and external customers to optimize manufacturing resources through division-wide coordination of program/project work plans.
Requirements
  • At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-05 grade level or equivalent in the Federal service or private/public sector, performing duties such as analyzing program progress, procurement process, and expenditures for conformance with established plans and customer requirements.
  • Experience in evaluating and recommending alternative/corrective actions to alter schedules and ensure program objectives are met.
  • Ability to handle a large workload or implement complex projects within established time frames.
Education

In lieu of specialized experience, a full year of graduate-level education or superior academic achievement may be substituted. A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
