POSITION SUMMARY
Gana-A'Yoo Services Corporation is currently seeking a part-time Culinary Specialist. This role requires no prior experience as training will be provided. The compensation for this position is $20.85 per hour, and we offer a range of benefits including paid time off, holidays, sick leave, as well as medical and retirement plans.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare nutritious and innovative meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring high standards of quality.
- Cook in large volumes using various techniques for meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients, including making gravies, soups, sauces, and casseroles.
- Maintain organization and rotation of food items in storage areas such as pantries, coolers, and freezers.
- Assist with the receipt and organization of weekly food deliveries.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
- Strong time management abilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role will primarily take place in an indoor food service environment, where you will engage with a diverse group of individuals with varying roles and backgrounds.

This position is active and involves regular walking, standing, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees must maintain a high level of mental alertness throughout their shifts.
