Woodworking Specialist

M&J Design Inc. is a leading furniture manufacturing company seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team. As a Woodworking Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality furniture components using solid wood and laminate materials.

• Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, including table saws, planers, routers, and sanders.
• Work with solid wood, laminates, and other materials to produce furniture components that meet company quality standards.
• Create furniture pieces and components according to blueprints, designs, and customer specifications.
• Perform assembly tasks, including fitting, sanding, and finishing.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow safety protocols.

• Previous experience in woodworking, specifically in furniture manufacturing.
• Knowledge of solid wood, laminates, and woodworking techniques.
• Ability to work with woodworking tools and machinery.
• Strong understanding of furniture construction and wood finishing.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
