Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Self Regional Healthcare. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
Perform clinical and administrative tasks as needed, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
Conduct initial patient assessments, documenting vital information in patient charts according to established protocols.
Assist healthcare providers by working within their scope of competency to fill medications, place orders, complete in-basket tasks, and return patient calls.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.

Requirements:
High school education plus post-high school health/medical studies with certification (CMA), Phlebotomy, or other relevant certification or qualification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems.
