Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Glendale

Apart from the regular classroom curriculum, schools are tasked with providing students with additional support services to cater to their diverse needs. Soliant Health is a renowned provider of such specialized educational support services, partnering with school districts across the U.S. to enhance student outcomes through expert therapy and consulting. We are currently working with a great school district near Glendale who is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the current academic term.
About the RoleThis part-time contract position requires a minimum of 1+ years' occupational therapy experience. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and be actively licensed as an OT in Arizona. Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom setting.
- Deliver direct therapy services focused on motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive techniques.
- Develop and lead training sessions for educators and parents on strategies to support students with various needs.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend related meetings.
