As a Research Associate III at Actalent, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research initiatives in tissue engineering and biomedical research. This position requires a highly motivated individual with a strong background in molecular biology, cell culture, and bioreactor optimization.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  1. Characterizing biomaterial properties and scaffold interactions.
  2. Assisting in biocompatibility and mechanical testing.
  3. Performing brightfield and fluorescence microscopy.
  4. Contributing to research and development efforts by identifying, suggesting, and managing laboratory supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Tissue Engineering, Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammalian cell culture (required).
  • Experience in transfection and cell line development (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical testing of biomaterials/tissue constructs (preferred).
Work Environment

This is a fully onsite position in West Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive research initiatives forward.
