We are seeking an experienced COBOL Mainframe Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in designing, developing, and maintaining COBOL-based applications on mainframe systems.

• Design, code, test, and maintain COBOL programs for mainframe applications
• Work with mainframe systems and associated technologies to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Analyze business requirements and system specifications to develop effective and efficient COBOL solutions
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of COBOL applications within the broader IT ecosystem
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all COBOL programs
• Conduct thorough unit testing of developed code to ensure its functionality, reliability, and compliance with established standards
• Identify opportunities for performance optimization and implement necessary improvements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Over 2 years of hands-on experience in COBOL development on mainframe systems
• Strong knowledge of mainframe technologies and associated tools
• Experience in working on large-scale projects with complex business logic
• Familiarity with healthcare or Medicaid systems is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality code
