Job Title: Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team in the Power Delivery Underground Transmission Line Group in Plantation, FL.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will support underground transmission line project work and develop detail drawings and plan & profile drawings to support permitting and construction packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detail drawings and plan & profile drawings to support permitting and construction packages
  • Support underground transmission line project work
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and complete drawings
  • Utilize Civil 3D and AutoCAD to create alignments, profiles, surfaces, and pipe networks
  • Self-check own work for completeness and accuracy
  • Interpret surveys and working knowledge of survey coordinate systems
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong Mathematics skills
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree/ technical education or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience creating alignments, profiles, surfaces, and pipe networks in Civil 3D
  • Ability to self-check own work for completeness and accuracy
  • Working knowledge of survey coordinate systems and experience interpreting surveys
  • Experience with MicroStation is a plus
