About the Fellowship

The Lorenz Clinic, LLC is proud to offer a Post-Master's Fellowship program designed to provide pre-licensed mental health practitioners with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop their clinical skills in a supportive and interprofessional environment.

Program Overview

The fellowship is a two-year, full-time program that follows a cohort model, allowing participants to work alongside a group of interprofessional peers and learn from experienced clinicians. The program is designed to provide fellows with the skills and knowledge necessary to become effective mental health practitioners, including diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and discharge planning.

Job Responsibilities

Fellows will be responsible for providing psychotherapeutic services to a variety of clients, including diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and discharge planning. They will also be expected to participate in individual and group supervision, case consultation, and other meetings as required.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, clinical counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or similar field from a regionally-accredited academic program
  • Successful completion of a clinically-focused, master's-level practicum or internship that involved diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy
  • Stated mental health licensure track in Minnesota and compliance with requirements for licensure or board certification as a mental health professional
