POSITION SUMMARY:

The Certified Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for performing essential tasks within the Instrument Room, which includes the decontamination, preparation, and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies for patient care, adhering to hospital and departmental protocols.

SCHEDULE: 3 PM - 11:30 PM

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a nationally recognized central service examination for Central Service Technicians; must hold and maintain credentials from a nationally accredited organization, such as Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).

Department: Operating Room

Bargaining Unit: 1199

Employment Status: Regular Full-Time

Salary Range: $24.62 per hour

The displayed rate is the hiring rate and may be subject to change based on various factors including shift differentials, experience, and education.
