About the Role:
This Nocturnist position is based in Connecticut, covering up to 56 beds across two units. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to RRTs and non-ICU codes* Provide care for patients on the night shift* Collaborate with APRNs to ensure seamless patient transfers* Maintain accurate records and reports* Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities
Benefits:
* Competitive salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per annum* Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance* Generous paid time off and holidays* Opportunities for professional growth and development* Supportive team environment* 7on/7off schedule* Average of 8 admissions per night shift, shared between two Nocturnists* Two-night shift times available: 6pm-6am and 8pm-8am
Requirements:
* Board certification in Internal Medicine* Current licensure in the state of Connecticut* Strong communication and teamwork skills* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment* Familiarity with electronic medical records systems* Basic life support certification (BLS)

Our facility is conveniently located near major highways, offering easy access to surrounding cities and attractions. Nearby amenities include restaurants, shops, and entertainment options. We are approximately 10 miles from Waterbury and 20 miles from Hartford & New Haven.
