Position Title: Electrician – Spruce Pine, NC
Position Overview: The selected candidate will be responsible for executing daily preventive maintenance tasks, installing conduit, diagnosing issues, and performing terminations among other duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine electrical maintenance throughout the facility
- Interpret and analyze wiring schematics
- Identify and troubleshoot malfunctioning circuits and equipment
- Install conduit of various types and sizes
- Perform terminations for motors, panels, and related components
- Adhere to daily directives and work orders assigned
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience as an industrial maintenance electrician
- A combination of relevant technical training and practical experience will be considered
Physical and Job Site Requirements:
- Ability to complete hiring documentation electronically
- Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must possess sufficient strength and endurance to perform the technical duties outlined
- Ability to navigate confined spaces and uneven terrain
- Full range of motion appropriate for age
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders
- Must be able to hear and respond to verbal commands and alerts from colleagues, alarms, and other job-related sounds
- Visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination necessary for working at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety footwear is mandatory
