Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our expanding team. As a specialist in communication disorders, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions for individuals facing challenges with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver transformative therapy and support to children and adults experiencing communication difficulties.
- Assist individuals who may have the ability to engage in other activities but require specialized speech therapy.
- Educate and collaborate with staff on the significance and benefits of speech therapy in the academic setting.
Qualifications:
- Current SLPA certification is required prior to the commencement of employment.
- Additional certifications such as CPR, TB skin test, and a valid Driver's License are necessary.
Educational Background:
- Minimum of an Associate degree in a relevant field or completion of a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program. Prior experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
