We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU team at UP Health System - Marquette. As an ICU nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to critically ill patients and their families.
About the Role
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Monitor and record patient condition, communicating effectively with the care team, physician, and family.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and provide education on age-specific, cultural, and condition-based care.
- Advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary: $93,000 per year, based on experience, plus shift differentials ($2.60 nights, $2.00 weekends, $1.10 afternoons), double-time incentive shifts, and flexible shifts/self-scheduling.
