Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Bryan Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety protocols are in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Ensure patient safety by maintaining a safe environment, adhering to protocols, and minimizing hazards of electric shock, burns, and extraneous radiation.
  • Assess patient pain and make appropriate physician contact for intervention.
  • Use AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank) to provide excellent patient care.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient care and department efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate quality control logs, service records, and perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide high-quality imaging services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in radiologic technology through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or associate's degree in radiologic technology from an AMA-approved school.
  • One year of radiologic/CT experience preferred.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current state of Nebraska Medical Radiographer license.
  • Current BLS certification.
