Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Residential Electrician to provide exceptional electrical services to our customers. As a Residential Electrician, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:

• Service calls: Respond to service calls from residential clients promptly and professionally.
• Quality control checks: Perform thorough quality control checks on completed electrical installations to ensure they meet our high standards.
• Hot checks: Conduct hot checks to identify and resolve electrical issues that could lead to safety hazards.
• Installation and wiring: Safely install, wire, and connect electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects.
• Customer service: Communicate with customers to assess their electrical needs and provide recommendations.
• Safety: Prioritize safety at all times and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Generator installation and maintenance: Install and maintain residential generators, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably.

Competencies

• Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Generator installation and maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable and strong work ethic.
• Own basic hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Education and Experience

• Proven experience as a Residential Electrician.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Climbing ladders up to 28 feet tall.
• Ability to wear and work using all mandatory safety equipment.
• Color vision must be normal; color blindness is not permitted.
• Expected to stand and walk throughout the day.
