Position Overview:

Join Reach Medical Holdings as a skilled VFR Helicopter Operator specializing in float operations. Our organization is committed to delivering exceptional medical air transportation services.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure safe transport of patients to various healthcare facilities.
  • Prepare aircraft for flight according to regulatory and company standards, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for each shift, including load manifests and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with air and ground dispatch teams, flight crews, and partner facilities.
  • Provide detailed shift change information to incoming pilots and adhere to company protocols for documentation.
  • Stay current with required certifications and participate in ongoing training programs.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75% of the time, to various operational bases as required.
  • Adaptability to new environments with limited prior knowledge of the area.

Additional Expectations:

  • Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to high standards of safety and service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
  • Helicopter instrument rating
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • Minimum of 3,000 flight hours
  • At least 1,500 helicopter flight hours
  • 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in helicopters
  • 1,000 turbine flight hours
  • Preferred: Night flight hours in helicopters (aided and/or unaided)
  • 200 hours of cumulative IFR experience (for IFR Reserve Position)
