As a licensed practical nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our outpatient gastroenterology endoscopy practice. Under the direction of the RN or Nurse Manager, you will implement nursing care activities, observe and report patient responses to treatments, and participate in activities related to nursing unit management. Effective interpersonal communication skills are essential for working with patients, family members, and other members of the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement nursing care activities under the direction of the RN or Nurse Manager
• Observe and report patient responses to treatments
• Participate in activities related to nursing unit management
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills
Requirements:
• NYS licensed/registered LPN
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with gastroenterology patients preferred
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, daytime hours
Salary Information:
The salary for this position is $30.48 per hour, which is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.
