Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at ARE Accessories LLC. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of products throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare products for movement throughout the warehouse, including sorting, scanning, repackaging, palletizing, labeling, and wrapping.
  • Operate powered equipment to move products throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently, once certified.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Assemble component parts into kits; package and label kits; enter kit data into our warehouse management system.
  • Pick and pack bulk and drop-ship inventory for shipment according to customer order; stage inventory for shipment; load trailers.
  • Unload trailers; receive product, verifying accuracy against purchase order and packing slip in our warehouse management system.
  • Scan palletized product wraps and labels according to customer requirements and load pallets onto trailers.
  • Receive returned product; verify warranty status; update our warehouse management system; prepare product for disposal or return to stock.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • 6-12 months of related experience and/or training required.
  • 2-5 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Previous forklift experience preferred.
  • Driver's license preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Skilled in the use of a pallet jack, tape gun.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Skilled in the operation of a computer with emphasis on warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to count and perform basic math.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Working Conditions

This position is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards from a production-based environment.

Shift

Our warehouse operates on a rotating schedule, with two shifts available:

  • Shift 1: Monday-Thursday, 5am-3:30pm, rotating Fridays, 5am-1:30pm.
  • Shift 2: Monday-Thursday, 2pm-12:30am, rotating Fridays, 2pm-10:30pm.
