We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As an Independent Licensed Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing direct clinical services to patients in an in-person, office-based environment.
Key Responsibilities- Screen and Assess Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify common mental health and substance abuse disorders.
- Provide Treatment: Offer evidence-based treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other effective methods.
- Monitor Progress: Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications.
- Licensure: Clear and active LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensure in Massachusetts.
- Experience: Proven experience working with children or adolescents, couples or family counseling, and a wide range of clinical presentations.
- Skills: Comfortable working with patients in person and telehealth, with solid computer and basic technology skills.
- Advanced Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience treating patients with behavioral health conditions.
- Specialized Skills: Experience with health psychology, hospital-based experience, and a proven ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and care teams.
