Job Summary: As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will provide safe, age-appropriate patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and specialty beds.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Less than one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Basic medical equipment skills, including use of scales, thermometers, and communication devices.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
