Per Diem Dispensing Nurse - LPN/LVN

BAART Programs is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team as a Per Diem Dispensing Nurse. As a key member of our treatment team, you will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications in accordance with program policy and medical protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer daily medication to patients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain dispensing equipment, including automated dispensing systems, and ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances.
  • Order, receive, and stock medication in accordance with DEA and State regulations.
  • Provide daily assessments of patients and maintain accurate records and reports as required by Company protocol, Federal, and State Regulations.
  • Collaborate with supervisory counseling staff to ensure a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward patients with Substance Use Disorder.
Qualifications:
  • Current and good standing LPN/LVN license in the State of Arizona.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • EMR and computer proficiency desired.
  • Experience in chemical dependency preferred, with a positive attitude toward individuals in substance abuse treatment.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
