Shift Leader Job Description

At Mirabito Energy Products, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of restaurant staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff to achieve operational goals and deliver great guest service.
  • Ensure that all restaurant staff are performing their duties to the highest standard and provide coaching and feedback as needed.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals and execution.
  • Ensure that all Brand standards are met throughout the shift, including preparation of food and beverages.
  • Communicate shift priorities, goals, and results to restaurant staff.
  • Coach restaurant staff as needed throughout the shift, providing timely, constructive, and clear feedback.
  • Support the training of restaurant staff as needed.
  • Perform oversight of franchisee safety, security, and profitability policies/processes throughout the shift.
  • Communicate clearly with the next Shift Leader to help prepare them for the shift.
  • Ensure that Food Safety standards are met.
  • Manage inventory throughout the shift.
  • Provide great guest service and coach restaurant staff to do the same.
  • Schedule restaurant staff for shifts.
  • Manage cash over/short during the shift and ensure that restaurant staff are following cash franchisee management policies.
Requirements:
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality preferred.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
  • Standing on feet.
  • Repetitive motion including bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Lifting objects, ice, products, boxes up to 20 lbs (if applicable).
  • Wearing a headset.
  • Working in a small space.
