Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, performing clinically relevant tasks under the direction of physicians.
  • Conduct x-ray examinations as prescribed by medical professionals.
  • Prepare examination rooms and assist physicians during patient consultations.
  • Support clinical operations as requested, which may include tasks such as suture removal and preparing injections.
  • Manage patient inquiries and relay important messages to physicians as needed.
  • Address urgent patient matters promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain the scheduling of physician clinics and surgical appointments, communicating any changes effectively.
  • Process pre-authorizations for imaging procedures.
Qualifications:
  • X-Ray License & ARRT Certification are mandatory.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must possess reliable transportation for travel to various office locations (mileage reimbursement applicable).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a medical office environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with different health insurance plans, including worker's compensation and auto insurance.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, punctuality, and excellent attendance.
  • Self-driven and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Experience with computerized appointment scheduling and EMR/EHR systems is preferred.
  • High level of proficiency, efficiency, and accuracy is required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills; ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
  • Capable of providing accurate information and seeking clarification when needed.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to assist in other departments or areas as required.
