Speech Pathologist for Pediatrics

The Speech Therapist I is responsible for providing services for patients who have speech, language, hearing, and oral motor problems. These services are provided with the participation of the family and other members of the interdisciplinary team as indicated.
This position reports to the Assistant Director, Rehabilitation Services and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide speech and language therapy services to patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral motor problems.
- Collaborate with the family and other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' speech, language, hearing, and oral motor problems.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on speech and language therapy techniques and strategies.
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology from a school approved by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Current licensure and registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the principles of speech and language therapy.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation.
