About the Position

Clinician I is a dynamic role that requires a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to provide trauma-informed groups and services to juvenile offenders. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), DRP, CCHS, and DAI institution staff to deliver services and support the development of treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct trauma-informed groups using evidence-based curricula
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for participants
  • Engage participants daily and reinforce group rules and expectations
  • Participate in case conferences and provide guidance on education and vocational goals
  • Document the delivery of services in ARMS
  • Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS and institutional staff
Requirements

The Clinician I must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • A Ph.D. in a social service or mental health field and at least one year of experience working in a licensed and/or certified program delivering SUDT and/or mental health services
  • A Master's Degree in a social service or mental health field and at least two years of working in a licensed and/or certified program delivering SUDT and/or mental health services
  • Current and active licensure by the Board of Behavioral Sciences
