We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Assembly Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Device Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling medical devices, specifically catheters, using small hand tools.
Salary and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.50 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental & vision coverage, life insurance, health spending account (HSA), transportation benefits, employee assistance program, and time off/leave.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Device Assembly Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assembling medical devices, specifically catheters, using small hand tools.
- Maintaining accurate records, including Lot History Records (LHR), and following all GMP/GDP policies.
- Processing small parts under a microscope.
- Flexing and rotating to other stations as necessary.
- Following and adhering to 5S principles and goals.
- Cutting and trimming catheters, operating balloon blowing machines, and working with plastic tubing and guide wires/sheath to align and layer under a microscope.
- Performing UV curing and using hot boxes for catheter assembly.
- Working with ovens and fridges to make hydrogel, packaging in plastic packaging, and adding hydrogel into catheters.
This is a fully onsite position in Santa Clara, CA.
