Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct nursing care in line with established protocols.
- Implementing and overseeing patient care plans.
- Coordinating with various healthcare professionals for seamless patient care.
- Executing physician and nursing directives.
- Assessing and managing patient discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development through formal and informal education.
Qualifications include:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- For critical care areas, certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required upon hire or within the first year.
- For roles in Children's Hospital, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is necessary within one year.
- Completion of the Chemo/Bio course within two years if working in relevant units.
- ACLS certification for Adult/Combined Emergency Departments upon hire or within one year.
- PALS certification for Emergency Departments upon hire or within one year.
- Completion of Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 24 months for dedicated trauma centers.
This role requires strong critical thinking abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to work independently.
Experience:
External candidates should possess a minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience. Internal candidates with less than two years of experience may be considered following a review and approval process.

Adherence to standard precautions and the use of personal protective equipment as required.
