About the Role

Sabre Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Software Integration Engineer to join our team in support of the United States Navy's most sophisticated aircraft platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for integrating system capabilities in a Red Hat environment, working cross-functionally with developers and system administrators, and troubleshooting and debugging system issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate system capabilities in a Red Hat environment
  • Work cross-functionally with developers and system administrators
  • Troubleshoot and debug system issues, analyzing root cause in the areas of hardware, network, and software issues
  • Assist developers with installation and configuration, including troubleshooting and remediation
  • Optimize maintenance and deployments to ensure integrated functionality
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Information Management, IT, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Three (3) years or more of Red Hat experience at an administration level
  • Security+ certification is highly desired
  • Knowledge of fundamental networking concepts
  • Experience with virtualization environments, scripting, troubleshooting software and hardware, and working in an agile environment
  • Experience with PXE and ISCSI interfaces
  • Basic understanding of the Java programming language to support Java application integration
  • Familiarity with Atlassian suite including Jira and Confluence
  • BitBucket and Bamboo experience is highly desired
