As a Certified Peer/Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorder, and/or dual diagnosis of SMI and IDD in their recovery journey.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct regular meetings with members to identify their interests, strengths, goals, dreams, and aspirations
* Collaborate with the Program Director to create treatment plans that cater to individual needs
* Facilitate weekly group sessions focused on RPS-specific skills, passions, and member needs
* Co-facilitate skills groups and provide feedback at treatment team meetings
* Support members in planning for and attending 12-Step meetings, finding a sponsor, and doing step work when appropriate
* Encourage members to develop personal medicine skills and self-advocacy skills
* Serve as an advocate for members and promote community integration through resource connection and support
* Demonstrate a willingness to share personal experience and serve as a role model
* Support members in developing and implementing transition goals and plans
* Provide weekly documentation on member progress, goals, struggles, and skill utilization

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
* Completion of CPS/CRS training within 90 days of hire
* Certification maintenance throughout tenure of employment
* Skilled in Microsoft Office
* High energy individual with strong work ethic and ability to multitask
* Self-motivator with ability to maintain confidentiality
