Role Responsibilities

As an Inventory Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and maintain accurate inventory levels of all stock items on-site. This includes identifying discrepancies, addressing errors, managing shrinkage, ensuring quality, and optimizing stock rotation while organizing inventory in designated areas.

Key Duties Include:

  • Exemplifying and promoting the ONX HOMES LLC philosophy, which emphasizes productivity, quality, safety, and teamwork.
  • Conducting daily inventory adjustments, reviewing prior day’s receipts, addressing negative quantity reports, and performing physical inventory checks.
  • Ensuring adherence to inventory control processes, analyzing discrepancies, and formulating corrective action plans.
  • Identifying and reporting potential improvements within procurement operations.
  • Participating in morning inventory meetings and preparing daily inventory reports in collaboration with the Procurement team.
  • Maintaining product quality standards and ensuring proper inventory rotation.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of QA logs and participating in morning quality control checks.
  • Collaborating with the Warehouse Manager and Procurement team to resolve rotation issues.
  • Supporting all receiving and stocking activities.
  • Engaging in quality audits of incoming products.
  • Conducting regular cycle counts.
  • Creating and managing Excel spreadsheets and databases, along with preparing necessary reports.
  • Managing Bill of Ladings and proof of delivery for vendor returns and product transfers.
  • Verifying purchase orders and ensuring they match accompanying documentation.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned and addressing new inquiries as they arise.

Qualifications Required:

  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant inventory experience is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
  • Forklift Equipment Certification is advantageous.

Physical Demands:

The physical requirements for this position include the ability to lift heavy items, work in confined spaces safely, and stand for extended periods. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
