The Operating Room Technician demonstrates expertise in surgical instruments and sterile technique principles. This role anticipates the needs of the surgical suite, utilizing critical thinking to ensure seamless operations. The Operating Room Technician adheres to hospital policies and procedures, collaborating with the surgical team to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining a sterile environment during surgical procedures
- Prepare and arrange surgical instruments and equipment
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
