Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Phlebotomist to join our team on a per diem basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in people's lives while working in a fast-paced medical environment.

You will be responsible for performing venipuncture and collecting other specimens for testing using proper technique and Universal Precautions. Additionally, you will adhere to laboratory instructions for specimen collection, storage, and transport, and follow insurance requirements as needed.

As a Phlebotomist at FCI, you will work collaboratively with our clinical staff to ensure patient needs are addressed promptly and accurately. You will also maintain up-to-date knowledge of lab changes and requirements, process patient specimens, and perform additional patient care tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess a certificate or diploma in phlebotomy, CPR certification, and technical skills such as venipuncture. Experience in a fast-paced medical office setting is essential, and proficiency with EMR systems is a plus.
