Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at Oak Grove Center in Waterville, ME. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and oversight to our healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to our healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement clinical programs and initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with our Regional Medical Director to promote the delivery of clinical services in a manner that fulfills our organization's mission
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to patient care and safety
  • Participate in required orientation and training programs, and promptly report concerns and suspected incidents of non-compliance to management or the Compliance Officer
Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. required
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred, with maintenance of certification
  • Geriatrics specialization is desirable
  • Certified Medical Director (CMD) through AMDA is desirable
