We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our South Jersey Fertility practice.
- Work hours are Monday to Friday between 6:45 am and 5 pm.
- Weekend shifts include Saturday from 6:45 am to 3 pm and Sunday as needed.
- You will report directly to the Lead Nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients' healthcare needs based on their signs and symptoms, utilizing established triage protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine the best clinical course of action for patient care.
- Schedule patients for procedures and appointments as necessary.
- Document symptoms, nursing assessments, advice provided, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure departmental effectiveness and improve patient health outcomes.
- Assist with phone triage, including reviewing lab results and returning patient calls.
- Order medical supplies as required.
- Weekend rotation is mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of an active LPN license in New Jersey.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a medical office, preferably in Women's Health, OB/GYN, or Fertility.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday with weekend rotation.
