Job Description:

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with students across various age groups and disabilities, providing assessments, interventions, and support to help students achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor and sensory skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to create supportive learning environments.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications.
  • Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students' occupational therapy needs in the classroom and at home.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or ability to obtain licensure prior to the start date.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
