Responsibilities

  • Remove dishes from tables and maintain a clean and organized dining area
  • Clean and reset tables to ensure a pleasant dining experience for our guests
  • Help run food that's ready to the tables in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist servers with serving guests water, coffee refills, condiments, and other amenities
  • Set up and maintain work stations to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Coordinate food orders between the kitchen staff and servers to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared according to the menu and meet quality standards
  • Garnish and plate dishes for presentation to enhance the dining experience
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and serving staff to maintain efficiency and ensure a positive guest experience
  • Monitor food inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed to prevent stockouts
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and expo areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment

Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma or GED required
  • Oregon state food handler certification
  • Excellent oral communication skills required to effectively interact with guests and staff
  • Positive interpersonal skills required to work effectively in a team environment
  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred
  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • Knowledge of culinary terms and practices is a plus
  • Familiarity with banquet or bussing procedures is beneficial
  • Understanding of kitchen operations and food safety protocols
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
