At Amazon, we're pioneering the future of cloud computing. As a Software Development Engineer in our Data Plane team, you'll play a crucial role in developing state-of-the-art Linux-based networking platforms.

About the Role
  • You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers to develop embedded routing platforms that enable one of the world's largest and complex networks.
  • We are seeking engineers with a demonstrated track record of designing and implementing Linux-based solutions on embedded devices, ideally for networking products.
Responsibilities
  • You'll design and implement new features and functionality for our data plane services.
  • You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of our services.
  • You'll work closely with our kernel engineering team to ensure our Linux kernel patches are properly integrated and validated.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience with Linux kernel development and networking protocols.
