At CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Leader to join our team as a Hospitalist. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, facilitate transitions of care, and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including attending Interdisciplinary Rounds and daily communication with the care team.
- Rend quality medical services, including referrals, follow-up, and hospitalization, as an internal medicine or family practice physician.
- Support hospital medical staff and other area physicians by overseeing the inpatient experience and providing follow-up care for patients in the outpatient realm.
- Communicate health status and treatment plans to patients, families, and hospital staff.
- Document information completely for patient care and billing purposes, and assist in reviewing workflow, office practices, and objectives.
- Teach medical students, residents, and others in graduate health education programs.
- Doctorate of Medicine required.
- Current Physician License in the state of Colorado required.
- Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association required.
- Other certifications may be required depending on practice setting or credentialing requirements.
