Job Summary:

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Weekend Option is a critical member of our diagnostic imaging team, responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans that provide comprehensive diagnostic information for patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of MRI technology and the ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals to ensure accurate and reliable imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain advanced MRI equipment, adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular maintenance checks to ensure precise and reliable imaging results.
• Collaborate with medical professionals during MRI procedures, providing real-time imaging support to ensure accurate positioning and optimal imaging quality.
• Review and assess patient medical histories to determine appropriate imaging parameters for accurate results.
• Record and document all MRI scans and associated information in Computerized Health Information (CHL) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), verifying charges and addressing discrepancies for smooth workflow.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program
• ARRT (MR), MRI Technologist ARMRIT(MR), ARMRIT(MR) BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross, or AHA Healthcare Provider ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT(MR) acceptable
