Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive leadership for all plant operations, establishing a clear vision and setting achievable goals.
- Align resources effectively and foster the development of team members.
- Promote a sustainable and safe workplace culture aimed at achieving zero injuries and minimizing environmental impact.
- Ensure product safety by adhering to customer specifications and maintaining high-quality standards in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize the Rockline Operating System to develop metrics, KPIs, and scorecards that align with performance targets and strategic objectives.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency and support high-performance work systems.
- Collaborate with various departments to meet customer expectations and drive overall satisfaction.
- Coordinate manufacturing processes to ensure timely production while addressing maintenance requirements.
- Direct staff towards specific projects that address immediate and long-term business needs based on expertise in personnel, production methods, and equipment.
- Establish and manage budgets, overseeing ongoing operational expenses and supporting the annual budgeting process.
- Identify and implement strategic initiatives for continuous improvement within the department.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Business.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 6 years in a supervisory role.
- Preferred certifications include Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, Lean Certifications, APICS, and ASQ (Quality).
- Experience in high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environments is essential, with ideal backgrounds in Consumer Packaged Goods, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Paper Products, or Plastics and Packaging Manufacturing.
