Telemetry RN Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment at a reputable hospital in Homewood, AL.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Telemetry RN to provide high-quality patient care and support our healthcare team. As a Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Telemetry RN
  • Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
