About the Job: Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN preoperative to join their team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in Anaheim, California, and contribute to the care of patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for surgery by assessing their medical history, performing pre-anesthetic evaluations, and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administer medications, start IVs, and monitor vital signs as needed.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families throughout the preoperative process.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience in preoperative nursing.
  • An active RN license in good standing.
